Terms and Condition

Last updated August 1, 2024

The following terms and conditions and cancellation policy apply to every single trip reserved with us. No Exceptions. Please read as your reservation request is an agreement to the following policies.

1. Billing: Payment is due upon completion via the credit card on file. If the card on file declines it must be updated within 24 hours
of the client being notified. Failure to update the credit card will require full prepayment for any future rides.

2. Quotes/Estimates: Estimates are calculated using Apple Maps only. Both locations are entered and the walking distance is selected.
Walking distance is used to calculate the shortest distance between 2 locations and the trip is billed for that amount. If the walking
distance suggested goes through private property, (golf course or university), the driving or biking route will be used to calculate the
next shortest route that does not travel through private property.

3. Multiple Stops: Multiple stops are not permitted. Each pedicab trip may include only a single pickup and a single drop off location.

4. Travel Route: Pedicab trips are quoted and completed using the
shortest route available on public roadways. Routes are note varied to accommodate preference.

5. Passenger Capacity: Pedicab trips allow a maximum of 2 passengers. The only exception is for a single small child which will spend the entire duration of the trip on the lap of an adult. 1 Adult and 2 small children is allowed as long as one remains on the lap of the adult for the entirety of the trip. Under no circumstances will 2 adults and 2 children be permitted to ride on the pedicab. If a customer insists on overloading the pedicab inconsistent with the above exception, the trip will be cancelled and billed for the full amount. This applies to every trip scheduled. No exceptions will be made and no prior precedence applies.

6. Pickup/Dropoff Locations: The passengers are required to be waiting at the main entrance which matches the address for the pickup location. If the address is a residence, the rider will knock on the front door. If the address is a place of worship or a residence with an event, the passenger is required to be out front waiting for the rider. The rider will not enter the location and attempt to find the passenger. The rider will remain on location for a 5 minute grace period before cancelling the trip and billing the card on file for the full amount of the trip. The rider will only remain on location if their schedule allows and waiting time will be billed at $4 per minute until a total of 15 minutes has passed before cancelling the trip and billing the ride for the full amount.

7. Waiting Time: Each trip allows for a maximum of a 5 minute grace period. After the 5 minute waiting period, waiting time is charged at $4 per minute until 10 minutes have accrued at which point the ride will be cancelled and billed for the full amount. No ride is guaranteed after the 5 minute grace period and is subject to cancellation at the full value of the trip.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation: All rides cancelled must be done so through the Pedicab App by clicking on the ride selected, tapping the circular “gear” sign, and hitting “Cancel Ride”. Rides cannot be cancelled any other way (i.e call, text or email). Any rides cancelled prior to 24 hours from their scheduled start time incur no cancellation charge. All rides cancelled less than 24 hours from their start time will be billed for the full amount of the trip. There are no exceptions to the cancellation policy for any reason. If the destination for a trip is changed less than 24 hours from the start time, the charge for the initial destination is still billed for, as that amount of time was set aside for the trip. Refusal to pay the cancellation fee will result in a permanent ban from our services to the addresses and account on the unpaid reservation.
